Zack vs. The Table

Zack lost.... Poor kid tripped last night and his face hit the corner of the coffie table. Zack even lost his tooth. Poor Zack was so scared because there was so much blood. We are taking Zack to the dentist this morning to make sure the tooth came out completly. Zack was pretty excited because he got a visit from the tooth fairy!!

Update - We just got back from the dentist and got good news. The entire tooth did come out. I was a bit worried part of the tooth was still in there.

Back To Surgery/Breast Cancer Awareness

I will be having surgery on Monday in Colorado Springs. I have known about this surgery for a few months now. I was originally going to "give my body a break" and wait until next summer to do it, but after seeing my surgeon yesterday, we decided it would be best to go ahead and do it sooner. My surgeon did say my pain level will only be a 4-5 out of 10. Not so bad. I'm only going to take Monday - Wednesday off. My Dad will stay up in Glenwood with the 2 older kids. Zack will come down to Colorado Springs with me.

Also, Please remember October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. So go out and buy those pink m&m's for me and all the other women and men who have been touched by this disease.

Backyard Camping

Since the weather is starting to cool down, we decided to let the kids have one last camp out in the backyard. They had so much fun! They loved making smores in the fire pit. Dennis was really great with the kids and slept outside with them. The kids were a little cold (went down into the 30's) but nonetheless happy. I was smart and slept in my bed and watched girly movies (Maid of Honor and The Notebook) all by myself!!!!

I decided last night to cut Meghan's hair. I cut off over 4 inches. I was getting tired of Meghan's hair always in her face and looking straggly. As you can see from the picture, Meghan isn't too sure about her hair. I think it came out cute though.

I miss Zack so much when he's at school. He's growing up way too fast.

Boys Camping Trip

Dennis had the week off so he went camping with his brother and his Dad. I was so excited for Dennis to spend this time with the guys. Dennis' Dad is wonderful, and we wish he lived closer. If we didn't love Colorado so much we might even consider moving to Illinois to be closer to him

I think next time Niki (my sister-in-law)and I need to have a girl spa weekend.

We got to spend the entire weekend with the Cobb Clan. Dennis' Dad flew in from Illinois, and his brother and family came up from Denver. The kids love having their cousin around, and I absoutley love having my sister-in-law Niki!!
