A Good Day!

The kids have a great day at school! They had the biggest smile on their face when I picked them up. Some of the highlights were...

2. Seconds on hot lunch
3. Ice Hockey
4. Reading on a big sofa
5. Pottery in Art Class
6. New Friends
7. Hot Tea every morning before reading!


So, it was a great day for the kids! What a relief. I was a nervous wreck all day!

First Day of School - Again

Today the kids actually had their first day of school. They were very nervous! Jourdan had a stomach ache and Meg had tears in her eyes. I have no doubt that they are going to do great, but being a Mom I'm a little nervous for them. I will let you know later today how they did. Keep your fingers crossed!!!

No School - Snow Day

Monday was supposed to be Jourdan and Meg's first day at their new school. The phone rang at 6:00 am and it was the school principal saying there was no school. The kids were excited, but a little stressed there wasn't school. The kids just wanted to get the first day of school over with. The principal did invite us to the school to get the grand tour. I am really happy the principal went out of her way to make sure the kids are comfortable. The kids got to see their classrooms, lunch room, gym, computer room, art room etc... The class sizes are really small. Only 15 kids per class. Jourdan is really excited because next month the 5th graders will go up to a local ski resort and go snowshowing!!!
