This weekend was a great one to say the least. Dennis and the kids came down to Colorado Springs to pick me up from my surgery recovery ( I was at my parents). On Saturday we were able to see Alex and Eric. We had such a great time with them. We decided to take the boys to the mall for a mini shopping spree since we were not able to see them on Christmas. We had a great time just shopping and talking. After the mall we decided to take the boys out to lunch at Joe's Crab Shack. Many of you know how much I dislike sea food, but the boys loved it! The boys even got creative and decided to try squid. I was disgusted by the look and smell of it, but it was pretty fun watching the boys eat it. It was kind of like watching Fear Factor! After lunch we went to Target, Toys R Us to do more shopping. It was a wonderful day! We hope to go back down to the Springs next weekend to see the boys.

I haven't been keeping up so I'm embarassed to say that I didn't know what was going on. I'm so sorry you've had to deal with all of this. It doesn't make sense, does it? But, I'm glad it's over and I hope that you never have to deal with anything like it again.
