February

February is always a big month for us. February 16th I turned 31. I can't believe I am in my 30's now. For my birthday I got a kitchen table. Yup, I'm offically in my 30's,Instead of getting something cool like a plasma tv etc... I get a kitchen table. I love my table! I have been wanting this table for months now. I can sit at the table and watch the Colorado River from the window. I can't wait for the summer when I can sit at my table and watch people white water raft down the river!!!





February 22nd was Dennis' and my anniversery. We really didn't have much planned for our anniversery this year. Dennis and I have gone though more together in the last several years then someone who has been together 40 years. We have conqured the birth of our children, miscarrages, financial problems, loss of jobs, new jobs, relocation, my cancer, 14 cancer surgeries, death of grandparents and much more. We have had a lot of hard times, but have also had a lot of wonderful times. The hard times have brought us closer together.

Yesterday (Saturday, Feb 23rd) Dennis surprised me with my birthday/anniversary present. A new Explorer! Not only is it 4 wheel drive, but has a DVD player. When you have kids you find out how essential a DVD Player is. The DVD player is my key to sanity. I'm so happy to have a 4 wheel drive again! I'm happy that I will be able to get up my driveway when it snows! Before I had to park at the church down the street and walk to our house!! Here is a picture of my new present!
