I've had so many people tell me the last week how unlucky I am. This has been on my mind the last couple of days. Am I just an unlucky person? After thinking about this I have come to the conclusion that I'm not unlucky. In fact, I'm darn lucky. I have 3 beautiful, healthy kids. A caring husband, a roof over my head, wonderful parents, awesome friends etc.... The luckiest thing of all is I SURVIVED BREAST CANCER and I'm alive!!
I think I'm a lucky, lucky girl!!

I'm not sure that there is such a think as being lucky or unlucky. Sometimes things that seem unlucky are actually luck in disguise (ie--challenges make us stronger). Or, what is lucky to one person might be different that for someone else.
They even did a Dateline (or one of those shows) on this a while back. If I remember correctly, it seems like their conclusion was that people who are seen as "lucky" are just the ones with a positive attitude who kept trying even amist difficulty.
So good for you--what a great attitude. You really are a lucky girl!
