We started the afternoon with a round of miniature golf downtown near the hot springs. We haven't done that in years. It was a lot of fun, but the kids had trouble waiting turns. It was humorous to see the kids misjudge the power and send it into the pond. Then we got out of the hot sun and enjoyed fried chicken for a change. "summer food"
We detoured off the streets and went into the towns famous Hotel Colorado. It was built in the 1800's and many famous people have stayed there from Presidents to Chicago gangsters. Dennis really loves the old hotel architecture and history. The hotel is rumored to be haunted, so that freaked Meg out a little. We finished off the day with an old fashioned ice cream cone. It has been a great summer day.

I'm just always amazed at how big everyone is getting. I'm amazed at how I can wake up grumpy and land happy and then the other way around too. :)
