I'm back

Thanks to Susie, I decided I should go ahead and update my blog. I'll start by giving an update on the kids.



Jourdan has been doing well. He's now in the 8th. It's his last year in Middle School. Jourdan isn't doing any sports right now. He's only doing track this year. Jourdan spends a lot of his time at Boy Scouts or working for a few of our neighbors. Jourdan is earning a lot of extra spending money by doing yard work, walking dogs etc... for our neighbors. He has also been volunteering for the animal shelter in town. He first got involved with this through scouts. Jourdan and his friend Kaden go up to the shelter once a week and spend time walking and playing with the dogs. So far, he hasn't wanted to bring any of the dogs home. Hopefully, Jourdan realizes we're at our limit with animals.




Meghan is doing really well. She is now in the 6th grade. Yup,that's Middle School. Meghan has loved being back in school. Meghan is a very social person, so the more people she's around the better. Meghan really doesn't know how to be alone. Meghan joined student counsel so she is doing that a few times a week. Gymnastic is still a big part of her life. Her first meet of the season is this weekend. Meghan is doing very well with gymnastics. She actually has almost nailed her back tuck. Meghan turned 11 on September 7th. She hasn't had her party yet, but hopefully I'll get to it here soon. For Meg's birthday she got an Ipod Nano. She's loving it! In a couple of weeks Meghan has her first school field trip. They are going to a local park and are zip lining across the Colorado River. I'm not sure what this has to do with school?





Last but not least is Zackary. My youngest born is now a big 1st grader. Zack had a rough first week of school. Lots of separation anxiety. I'm happy to say, I think we are over that. Zack has been great going to school this whole week. I was a little unsure of Zack's 1st grade class. Zack is in the only class that has 2 teachers. 1 teacher in the morning, and 1 teacher in the afternoon. I wasn't sure how Zack would like this. Well, It turns out that Zack LOVES this. He loves both teaches and is doing very well with his school work. I asked Zack how he liked having 2 teaches, and he said it was the best thing EVER. I'm happy! Zack had a birthday on the September 2nd. He is now 7 years old. For his birthday he got new pajamas, a fireman toy, and his favorite, a new digital camera (for kids). Zack has always loved taking pictures. He loves to go to Meghan's gymnastics practice and take pictures. I'll post some of his pictures soon.
